We use home-grown methodologies to derive efficiency in testing. We believe that every business application has its own unique features and we cannot use the same process to test them. Testing screen based business applications can be a ‘black box’ activity with testers knowing less about the coding used and involves limited or no programming. But testing DWH & BI projects involves significant programming work, as there are many back end processes that work on data management. Testing products (that are otherwise typically tested ‘thoroughly’ by the product vendor) involves product configuration & setup testing along with data migration testing before the move to UAT happens.
